Abdul-Malik Abu

Strengths: Great inside scorer, being very active in the paint leading to many rebounds and putbacks. Aggressive dunker, likes throwing down oops regularly. Fairly decent mid-range shooter. Doesn't do it a whole lot, but he's efficient when he shoots the jumper. Good defender, doesn't show on the statsheet but he's very active on defense down low. He's very athletic and has a nearly unmatchable motor on the court. Brings a whole lot of energy to a team.
Weaknesses: Doesn't have a consistent, reliable 3pt shot. I'd really like him to expand his shooting ability because it would make him a heck of a lot more lethal on offense. Not that good of a free throw shooter. He can pick up fouls in a hurry which has pushed him out of games early. Needs to be more disciplined. Doesn't really have a set position to play due to weaknesses each area is supposed to strive with. Didn't get as much playing time as he should've this season.
Summary: Abdul-Malik Abu is an athletically gifted forward who is very underrated in his skills. He is a top 10 forward prospect that hasn't been given a good enough chance to make an impact in the draft. He has the tools to make an NBA team and become AT THE LEAST a reliable player coming off the bench who will give his best night in and night out.
